Born in Côte d’Ivoire and raised in Burkina Faso, art was a part of every aspect of life. As a first African immigrant, Raissa decided to pursue her passion in modelling and her adventure began. She experienced so many unjustified rejections based on the “perfect beauty standard”.

It is through this journey that the idea of starting a beauty brand “Raissa Yame Beauty” was born. An inclusive beauty place with a mission to uplift women of color by embracing their uniqueness and be seen for who they truly are.

As part of our effort to give back to our community, we are working closely with women’s cooperative in Africa by promoting trade to enhance the feeling of inclusion, fostering women’s partnerships, and creating business opportunities for them.
